                            He was one of my first teachers and a true mentor in my studio practice. (See Scrapbook 1986.)
                          Incidentally, these are aerial landscape photos. He once took me up in his two-seater, single-engine 
                              plane, turning it completely sideways in the air to get the shot. It was glorious and terrifying.
