                             The handsome man in the foreground went by the name Maharaj, which is Hindu denoting an
​                                          accomplished practitioner - a master - of a particular skill, in this case dancing.

             Bashir Ahmed (b.1954) is a master in the original Persian and Mughal miniature painting techniques. Lala Rukh 
          (1948-2017) was an artist and prominent Pakistani women's rights activist. She founded the Women's Action Forum.
